Interesting game tonight - PNE with injuries, but at home - Sheff utd needing a win to keep in touch and both teams have games in hand.
Whatever the result tonight,I hope we send PNE home with no points on Saturday

A draw tonight would do nicely or a Sheff Utd win if not.
But like you say it's all about us not other teams and their games.
We need to simply keep winning.
Up The Town!

Also good that they are playing on Wednesday and not Tuesday. One less day than usual to recover/train whereas we've had a fresh week completely.

I'll be rooting for a draw tonight. As it stands, a win for the Blades would be better for us, but I still think there'll be in the mixer at the end of the season so the more points they drop now the better.

Some would argue that the best preparation for playing football is playing football.
If the lose tonight, they've got a early opportunity to focus on preparing for a new challenge and get over it, rather than dwelling on it for a few days...if they win then they'll come into Saturday with a bit of momentum.
Anyway, it's a draw at the weekend, I've seen the results.

Don't mind them playing, especially if they pick up injuries & cards

A draw or Sheffield United win tonight would do us very nicely. Are Mellor and Hume injured? Yes. May still be injured on Saturday too which would be nice. Preston have been winning games by outscoring teams. Hopefully with their strike pair injured they will stop scoring but continue to conceed. A draw would be nice tonight.

What I meant was that both team have been scoring and they have been scoring more!

Sheffield United are due a good league win, dont think they have won a game against any genuine promotion contender yet (please dont quote me on that) so I think they will pull the stops out....2-0 Sheff Utd

Let's hope they're the same.

Not bothered over tonight's result. More important for us if Hume and Mellor are still out on Saturday, gives us a far better chance of winning the game.

We shouldn't worry about Mellor and Hume. We should have the confidence to beat Prestons strongest side.

Aye Dooky well said, as usual. Both these teams are rubbish. 1 or t'other may be in top 6 come May but only cos the rest of the league is so shite this year. Neither has any money and both have crippling wage bills and falling attendances.

:udders: dont give a shite what pne or blades do, all that matters is we carry on as we are, picking up points. it,s time for a decent performance at home, should be a good game, plus we have a decent ref for a change. bring it on : : TTID :udders:
