Well January is the month after December, and it's when people are skint, and need some cash like. We aren't skint. In fact, we have more money than you. Maybe you will need to cash in on madine (if he is still scoring and someone wants to buy him)

In Dean Hoyle's history as chairman of managing Huddersfield what would make you think that Rhodes will be going Halfwit? He's referenced the sale of Stewart to Ipswich numerous times, saying it would never happen on his watch. We don't need the cash, Rhodes seems a down to earth lad who wouldn't agitate for a move, and there has no doubt been a gentleman's agreement that he can leave if we don't get promoted - i would guess this was probably what the onversation between Hoyle and Hunt/Rhodes was last week. EXACTLY what happened with Pilkington last season - if you can't remember he was the lad that shot you down twice when we took 6 points off you.
More likely that Madine bottles someone on a night out and gets sent down than Rhodes leaving in January. If you search Gary Madine on Google three of the top 5 results refer to a prison warning, him being arrested in an arson inquiry and him being back in court.
Seems like a nice lad and the sort of player you'd love your promotion chances to hinge on.

I'd love the irony if we sold Rhodes and bought Madine to replace him. You think we'd sell Madine to you lot? lol. And still not had one answer as to Rhodes replacement, forget Madine thats just fantasy land, but seriously he will go come January then you are well and truly buggered. We might lone you Morrison. Should be asking you what your lot will do should Madine leave Wednesday this January? No disrespect intended, but we're richer than you and your lad will no doubt be seen as a cheaper alternative for Rhodes, who has scored just as many league goals as Rhodes also. It'd take a offer of possibly well over £2million for our lad, certainly at the moment at least. Can you say the same for Madine??? I concede that we'll lose players from time to time as they want to play their trade at the highest levels ala Peltier and Pilkington. But then again, don't be surprised if Madine leaves Wednesday. No point being at what is a massive club if they're languishing in the lower divisions ala Town, Bradford, etc. If we lose Rhodes, it won't be cheaply and ONLY if we have a replacement automatically in mind. Mind you, I very much doubt he'll leave in January anyway.

Don't watch West Yorkshire Calender or Look leeds over here so don't know. How many has Rhodes scored in the league, fewer then Madine, Gary Madine - goal machine. Woops.. Madine = 11 Rhodes = 11 (in less games too ) Cup Madine = 0 Rhodes = 2 International Madine = 0 Rhodes = 5 Think the Wendy's just been OWNED

We're richer as our chairman has more money and madine is the cheaper alternative as he isn't as good as Rhodes.

Yeah, I mean why are we poorer? lol Because we have more money than you, its not too hard to understand. It's easy just to say that but how do you know? You dont know our finances or anything, very short sighted if you ask me. You all said Pilkington wouldn't leave and he did, you all said you would be playing in the same league as Norwich too (that could happen still) but he still left you for a bigger club.

If we had gone up, he may not have done, same with peltier. Fact is we didnt go up so who are we to deny them that right, fact is rhodes wont go in january cos hoyle wont let him in the middle of the season UNLESS we are loaned him back for the rest of the season.

The difference is part way through last season the chairman Dean Hoyle said he wouldn't stand in the way of players wishing to leave if we failed in our bid for promotion. Pilkington got the chance of premiership football and chose to leave, i have no doubt the same conditions apply to Rhodes, (if unlikely i know) we were to fail then Rhodes would be free to go. BUT Dean Hoyle has stated categorically no top players will be released before the end of the season and i believe him.

Should be asking you what your lot will do should Madine leave Wednesday this January? No disrespect intended, but we're richer than you and your lad will no doubt be seen as a cheaper alternative for Rhodes How do you come to that conclusion? Well it certainly appears that way. We sold two players in the summer for fees that could well rise up to £4-5million together. That and our chairman sold his company for about £350million and has invested a decent wrack of it on players. For instance, the signing of Danny Ward, seen as a replacement for Pilkington could end up costing us up to £1million. We've also spent a fair few million on a new training complex also with long term aspirations on further improving the facilities there to rival even some Premier League sides. I will point out though - what money we actually have and what money we are spending shouldn't be used purely as cast iron evidence that someone is financially stable. e.g. Rubery. Hence the reason why I said 'appears so'. As for the Madine comment, quality player, but Rhodes is on what could be the verge of full international honours and is still a young lad. That will no doubt add a bit extra to his overall valuation.
