How do you come to that conclusion? Well it certainly appears that way. We sold two players in the summer for fees that could well rise up to £4-5million together. That and our chairman sold his company for about £350million and has invested a decent wrack of it on players. For instance, the signing of Danny Ward, seen as a replacement for Pilkington could end up costing us up to £1million. We've also spent a fair few million on a new training complex also with long term aspirations on further improving the facilities there to rival even some Premier League sides. I will point out though - what money we actually have and what money we are spending shouldn't be used purely as cast iron evidence that someone is financially stable. e.g. Rubery. Hence the reason why I said 'appears so'. As for the Madine comment, quality player, but Rhodes is on what could be the verge of full international honours and is still a young lad. That will no doubt add a bit extra to his overall valuation. So let me get this right, your chairman sells his business's for 350m and you all think you are rich, lol and you all think your richer then us but non of you know our finances now. Let me tell you a little story, once there was a chairman at a club called Sheffield United, the chairman (a life long blade) had property business's all over the world, they were rich, even got into the premiership for a year, but one day it all went pop, why? because they weren't as rich as they thought and when things got tough the chairman bottled it and went AOL. Half of you need to calm down dears, because you're getting away with yourselves lol. FAFT.

Well how rich are you then? Come on instead of coming out with aload of bollocks like your last post. Why don't you give us some hard facts? Until you do I will firmly believe that we have more money and a better squad than you.

The difference being our chairman is intent on making the club self sufficient and will not be going down that road. you really don't have a clue what this club is about. :udders:

Lol @ f**kwit.
Our chairman is a fan. He is also a Top Bloke. One thing is for certain is that when he decides to hand over the reigns to someone else, our club will be in a hell of a lot better state than it was when he took it over.

True, but the same could be said about plenty of other clubs also, including your own Sheffield Wednesday. So why are you so confident about your finances anyway?
I mean Huddersfield being cash rich is often discussed by the media and those annoying tw@ts off the Football League show, rightly or wrongly.
Like I said, which you conveniently overlooked, the money spent by a club and the actual money available are two different things and shouldn't SOLELY be used as irrefutable evidence as to a clubs/chairman wealth.

first of all hillsbro halfwit is ok, he dont usually come on here giving shit, second rhodes wont go january, he prob will next summer but we will have 5m plus to spend, and 3rd our defence isnt very good against decent opposition most teams going in front with 4 mins left would have seen the match out for 3 points but we didnt AGAIN.......the defence is the reason we drew too many matches last season and the defence is the reason we are drawing too many matches this season

yes the defence is really shit , ::)the defence has got nothing to do with our unbeaten start to this season and our unbeaten run last season. if any of our playaz got 9 out of ten EVERY week and never made a mistake, they would not be here anymore . we are a 3rd division team on a great run and we have and will continue to make errors, . the defence has got us where we are , and at the moment it is good enough for where we are wanting to go UTT :udders:

Oh and by the way, my Dad`s bigger than your Dad, and I`m harder than you :boxing: I`m not sure how many £millions Dean Hoyle or Milan Mandric are worth, but I do know that DH will not move on to another 2 or 3 different clubs scattered around the country when he eventually leaves HTFC. Neither will he have to break off for 2 weeks in Southwark Crown Court to defend himself. Our Chairman is better than yours, full stop. End of conversation. The only other clubs Chairman that has or is close was Jack Walker at Blackburn , 20 years ago - & I include Abramovich and Sheikh whatshisname at Man City. : :  : : : :
