If Delph was worth £8m, then based on that logic Rhodes is worth minimum £10m ;D THIS

£5million can not be turned down by a league one club Sell him and sign Madine for £100k thats a big price!!! for madine! He's not as prolific as Jordan so i say £75k max! Its not like he's coming from a decent club or owt : :

It'd better be £10 million. Claridge on 5 live talked how big and stocky he was for a 21year old... Says all you need to know about Claridge... Claridge was also very positive about HTFC and Rhodes which goes against most of the cr@p spouted on here

"That superb form has led to increased speculation about Rhodes' future, with a host of Premier League clubs now increasing their interest in the powerful hitman, who bagged 22 strikes in all competitions last term." Still not able to accept Rhodes is way better than you would like to admit eh terriercas esp after all the pre-season comments you made.

Claridge was also very positive about HTFC and Rhodes which goes against most of the cr@p spouted on here Claridge shows himself to know fook all about the hottest striker in league 1 when he bangs on about Jordans physical attributes. Contrary to whats written on here he looks a lot stronger and fitter this year and is plenty strong enough for a young lad but its definitely not his stand out quality. With the job Claridge is in he should be in a position to offer a proper summary of Jordan but as we all know he knows fook all and makes it up as he goes along.

: : If Delph was worth £8m, then based on that logic Rhodes is worth minimum £10m ;D THIS Dont believe the Papa Smurf hype on Delph. I know someone who works in the accounts at Villa and he has told me that the down payment for Delph was £2m rising to £4m based on various criteria ranging from appearances to full England recognition (which is always possible but imo unlikely). So realistically they will probably pay c£3.5 mill for him Bates insisted on publicising that the deal was worth £8m to appease L***s fans.

It should also put to bed any nonsense like has been spouted in the past about the signings LC has made. 25 years following Town and we've never had players with so much sell on value as Pilks, Pelts and Rhodes.Apart from Boothy and Stewart of course Nope - Boothy was homegrown so not a signing. And Stewart was a one off - im talking about a group of signings of such quality and with such sell on value against there initial investment. No can match the current crop of players for their group sell on value - mostly LCs signings. The most valuable squad we have ever had at town?

Scholes will have been there to watch Oliver Norwood, the lad on loan from Man Utd who scored first goal last night. Shoddy reporting all round really so wouldn't read too much into it. I think one thing that is 100% guaranteed is that Rhodes will play some part for Scotland in next full international. This would bump his price up no end. One of my colleagues spoke to him. He was there to watch Norwood

Well it comes down to how much we want promotion or not. Man utd can have him in the summer for 6M due to inflation and loan him back for a season of championship football. That would be ok. There is no need to sell him, good offer or not at this stage of the season. Any possible replacement would be at an inflatled price and might not work. Remember how martin smith was this and that and was going to be a great replacement for Stewart. look at how that worked out Deano and remeber a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Love how the scotts u21 manager reports to Fergie! Cheers mate great move that to disrupt our season.

As reported in another thread, this is simply cut and pasted from the Metro paper (apparently part of the daily mail?) without even taking the glaring error out of it about the Galpharm. I don't know whats funnier, them getting it wrong or them allowing my comment about the error and calling them a tinpot paper hehehe...... :boxing:
