Sheffield a horrible city  You're having a laugh fella. The West side of the city is very very nice. I found Wednesday fans a mixed bunch some sound some as you describe. However compared to Notts (sic) Forest not really arrogant at all. From what I've seen of Sheffield, I am of the opinion that the place is a shithole; the estate peering over the city for a start. I obviously don't know it as well as you but I'm not a big fan from what I've seen.  It's a right shit hole |

Another Owl here. Looking forward to the game on December 17th. Seems we're under the radar of a lot of you lot, which is fine by me. We're ticking along nicely and after last season i'm very happy being 5 points off top with 16 played. Our biggest let down last year was how we did against the top teams, but this year we've played 4 of the top 6 (the 2 other being ourselves and you lot) and come away with 2 wins and 2 draws.
Megson clearly has a bum reputation amongst the footballing community, but he's got the team playing with passion, belief, and a real desire to do well for the Club and the fans. I see a big similarity there between ourselves and what LC has done with your lot. With the greatest respect, as fellow promotion challengers, I think most of us are hoping Leicester come in and snap him up :sorry: If not, I can see some serious fireworks on the touchline between him and Megson. Anybody fancy opening a book on how many rounds they go? :shifty:

I`m starting to hate these arrogant deluded bastards. Just like the so called other "big clubs" that have fallen into this division, Forest, Leeds, Southampton, full of shit. Can't see why you are so obsessed with these "other" teams to be honest . Personally I couldn't give a fuck about em :-) |

I used to work in and around Yorkshire including Sheffield - in general the people there were certainly friendlier (always offer you a cuppa) than Leeds folk and, in truth, also many of those from Huddersfield.
And they always seemed to play good attacking football - Cheeky Trev, Waddle and De Canio, three in particular who were great to watch.
