I`m starting to hate these arrogant deluded bastards. Just like the so called other "big clubs" that have fallen into this division, Forest, Leeds, Southampton, full of shit.

I kind of agree.
I'm not too keen on their internet message board warriors (probably children), aside from that, I'm not right bothered.

Like most sets of fans, there a mixed bunch, I've got a few mates that are wednesday fans, one inparticular still thinks there a class above anything in this league or the country!! A couple of others are a lot more down to earth.
All clubs have it, a lot of fans are still stuck in the 'good old days' whilst some are a lot more realstic. Saying that at least they have a history, as do sheff utd in there own right so they can brag about something, rather cocky sheff fans than cocky barnsley fans they are the worst!

Sheffield Wednesday, great thread title pal. Hillsborough Full-Tit..... I would worry about teams in the lower mid-table positions if i where you as we all know Megson's boring tactics are going to put you back their very soon. To put it in perspective, not one player from your team would get in our first eleven enough said.

blades are more of a threat than the wendies. they are only up there cos of there home record - but their away record is shit and will see em plummet down this league.

I'm a neutral when it come to you and Leeds, but how the hell can you not say it wasn't your cup final, it's probably your biggest game in football. (apart form us like) Jealousy there for sure.

 I'm not too bothered by Wednesday to be honest. Have decent links with them in the past thanks probably to Boothy playing for both clubs. You get arrogant sods at all clubs, even Town.
As for the biggest game of the season, last season you could argue it was more 'your' cup final though. We well and truly f*cked up the one we were in! (both if you include the Johnstone Paints Nothern Final against Carlisle!)
This season, could be either you or Sheff Utd, in the regular league season, I'll admit that.

Last time we played L***s we were both vying for promotion. Of course it was huge but to say it was our cup final is just plain wrong. I'd have happily lost 5-0 to them twice that year and finished above them in 2nd spot. Same goes for you twits this year. Do you not understand that we only care about promotion? The only reason we're talking to you is you're somehow 3rd, which will change soon because you're nowhere near as good as you seem to think you are.

Keeping expectations realistic myself (top 6 should be achievable going on the first 15 games then hopefully hit a real purple patch like last year with hopefully 5 or 6 away wins on the bounce and a stout home record with plenty of wins and hopefully dominant performances (not too many dominant home performances as yet (inc Preston where I felt things really ran for us and if the goalie hadn't had such a nightmare first half could have been a lot tighter). Just for reference the season Leeds stormed out in front then stuttered over the Line with Norwich (2009 - 2010) they had 36 points from their first 15 games (inc 1 defeat) and Charlton were second at that point with 29 points from first 15. Nothing is a given in this league and 5 or 6 teams look capable of making a good shout for the top (including us and Wednesday).

I hate Sheff Wednesday more than any other team for their sheer arrogance. Fully hope and expect they will fall down the wayside as per.
Give me Leeds United over this lot any day (tin hat already donned).

Personally I prefer the Wendies to the Blunts, not sure if its because of Boothy, the blue and white stripes or that I worked with a bunch of Sheff. Utd fans who were dirty thieving cnuts.

Lurker - have you gone stark raving mental or what? Nope, not at all. Sheff Wednesday and Birmingham City are my 2 most hated clubs. Always have been and always will be I guess. Horrible cities with horrible fans. Leeds are arrogant, but from my experience Wednesday are even worse. :sorry:

I found Wednesday fans a mixed bunch some sound some as you describe. However compared to Notts (sic) Forest not really arrogant at all.

Just to balance things up, my mate who is a massive Wednesday fan (over 80 league ground with them, etc.) hates Megson and was in one of those "do you prefer a loss just to get rid of him" quandaries around the time of the Stevenage thrashing. Decent club, could/should have won the league in the early 90s with the team they had (Hirst, Warhurst, etc.).

From what I've seen of Sheffield, I am of the opinion that the place is a shithole; the estate peering over the city for a start. I obviously don't know it as well as you but I'm not a big fan from what I've seen. :nodding:
