No chance on either account. The only way Lee Clark will not be our manager this time next season, is if we get relegated. No chance. Not at all 3 1/2 years and no promotion would be an epic fail and it would be adios amigo if we don't go up. I also agree that he would just walk out. Rolling contract and all Ok, lets see if you have some big gonads. I'll bet you a gallon of ale that Lee Clark is Town manager on Christmas day 2012. Obviously we both take a risk on what division we are in.

Read my next post down. Why would I bet on something when the odds are currently stacked against me??
For someone who is absolutely positive Lee Clark will still be here next season regardless of division, you seem to be very unwilling to take a bet that he wont be if we are still in league 1!
Now who has the big cahonies?

If we DO go up a gallon of ale is a small price to pay.

It was only last week the board was in meltdown because folk thought he was off to Leicester, now the knives are coming out again after a poor result in the Fa cup.
How about we let him get on with his job and see if he can get us promoted then worry about what happens next then. Or is that too far fetched or radical ?

I aint pulling the knifes out, merely pointing out that failure to win promotion this season will (in my opinion) cost him his job

:hi: lee clark will be manager next year if we dont go up Would you be happy with that? I wouldn't be unhappy. We have had 3 good seasons without hitting the jackpot button. We will though under Lee Clark. Any new manager would be a gamble.

I don't consider we are or have been mediocre for the last three seasons, now if we had spent the last three seasons in the bottom six of the championship that would be mediocre. You appear to have a lot to learn. :shake:

I remember Wayne Goldthorpe, Now THEY WERE the days of mediocrity.

When the season is all finished and say we ultimately never got promoted we will start off on the same amount of points as every single other team in the league, a complete failure for yet another year with some fresh happy clapping to boot.
