If you look back on previous promotions, most of them had early FA Cup exits. 2003/04-first round, 1994/95-second round, 1982/83-third round, 1979/80 -first round. I think they also went out at the first stage in 69/70 , but I can,t be sure.

Given we are currently second it doesn't take victor chandler to know the odds are in your favour. I too will bet you that if town fail to go up he will no longer be our manager come next season |
