#40 the realist Posted 19 November 2011 - 07:42 PM "huddersfield will fade badly after christmas it happens every year" The last league game we lost was December 28th, so he's got a point. : :

They sound like us when we were hoping Sothampton would mess it up last season. Didn't happen then and we're too strong this season. All the top sides will have been played away from home before Xmas. Second half of the season we will be even stronger!! 2 or 3 defeats this season and lots and lots of wins! Keep hoping Owls.

Not sure they are going to go away as easily as we would like them to, though.

Wednesday have adopted a brand of football (if you can call it that, thuggery might be more apt) that will see them challenge the top 2 all the way Their/Megson's whole ethos is to get as many tall and strong players as possible and try to out muscle the opposition. Awful to watch but effective at this moment in time. Their only players I'd want here are Palmer and maybe O'grady, the rest are just big lumps who can jump high and run fast : :

He is like Lee except he scores goals. I am not sure what to make of Wednesday. They haven't seen to have improved much since last season (players wise) but they are obviously doing something right.

wouldn't read too much into it as posters just like to have a laugh on OT, we're not daft we know you are up there and deserve it and it's gonna be tough all the way.

Not sure they are going to go away as easily as we would like them to, though. Neither do I tbh, its looking like a 3 horse race for 2 spots imo.... they are very good at home and improving away, nothting in it tbh. These 2 massive games in the next month should be interesting !!

I'm sure we will go up and laughed like F*** at the Weds website, unreal. Only thing I would say (and this is a snapshot, I have no data to back it up) is that I feel we win more away from home and I am always more confident of a win away than at home, whatever the opposition. Maybe just me? UTT!

Why do people keep saying we have drawn too many on this unbeaten run.. Won 25 drawn 18 that's 93 points over 43 games easy enough points for promotion and to compare were we were when we started the run too.. Half the league had plenty of games in hand on us. We just simply lost too many games before January last season.

Lost just 1 too many. Had the run started with a win at Southampton, we'd have gone up.
