Not bad going for 1 days work. Word must be well and truly spreading. And with all the extras that are appearing (previews, preditction league etc) it feels just like home!!! ;D

I still think its a rather limited site and we should go downs geioffs route of a new website like DATM take the pros of the old one and this one into a totally independent site.
This is just a forum really and seems rather limited.

This is just a forum really and seems rather limited. Yes, this is just a discussion board but we're looking to develop other aspects. Myself, Mancterrier and LePoivre are not web designers but we know that out there in the DATM community there are people who are and if we can get some ideas together what we would like and independent site to look like, what features the membership would like, i'm sure we could develop that and maintain this site as a discussion forum. We'll never be able to replicate DATM as we knew it but I'm sure we can design something to include all the features we once enjoyed and maybe add others as well.  In the short term, with the amount of dissatisfaction shown about the new site, this will keep the DATM community together. Any move to another site or format will be done smoothly and we'll discuss things with the DATM community before making more radical moves or changes. |

I think MT and co have done really well to get so many across here and deserve a pat on the back Okay so it's a work in progress but go to downatthemac.com to see the alternative - I don't know if I'd still bother posting as it's so clunky. I think a online community of Town fans is great personally (for all the inside news from those in the know especially!) and I'm pleased to see one's survived despite rivals/ bskyb and the Examiner making unpopular (and unnecessary amends) to their messageboards As a thought MT (I know it's easy for me to sit on the sidelines and ask), any chance of a more memoriable url than downatthemac.proboards106.com/index.cgi?board=general What about the downatthemac.net which someone said is avaliable? |
