adding a picture to my profile

as i am a luddite, and old, how do you add a picture to your profile on the left of the posting screen. ( idiot proof wording please) ::

1. At the top of the page, under the picture of the galpharm, there are some red icons. Click on "Profile"

2. Now click "Modify Profile" which is just above your name.

3. Scroll down to where it says "Avatar URL"

4. In here put the URL for your picture. So it reads ........

5. Scroll right down to the bottom of that page and click "Modify Profile"

Done.

Alternatively, if that makes no sense whatsoever, tell me which picture you would like and I will do it for you

Cut a picture out of a magazine, or from a photo, then stick it to your computer screen.
