I have an Asus A6 KM laptop that requires a new CD/DVD.
The removal instructions are
(1) Remove 2 x Screws (found & done)
(2) Remove a 'mylar' (found and done)
(3) Place screwdriver in hole found in (2) and slide out old unit.
Nope ~ won't budge. Has anyone ever changed one and / or is there an art to it?
The annoying think is I rebuilt a desktop from scratch last week. It took me less time that I spent on (3)!
