Hi I have just joined the 21st century and got an Xbox 360! I am wanting to connect to the net through it, and stream movies etc to it.
I have the following - Wireless laptop running Windoze 7 through a Netgear wireless router, and an xbox 360. I have read that I may need an official Xbox wireless adapter ( expensive ). Can't I just plug in a network cable from router to Xbox? Or is it not that easy?! Any help appreciated!

A network cable is that easy that's what i use.
The wireless antenna is about £40 quid
