Mine's wank
Even on power saver it barely lasts an hour and a half
I'm planning on taking it to Ibiza in august and getting a connection in some bar to listen to the Peterborough game on townplayer, but I'd rather not run out of battery when it's 0-0 and we've just been awarded a penalty on 70 mins.
So anyone got any recommendations? Never considered it before so not sure if you can buy a brand new battery that would improve it

My avatar countdown was over so I thought it'd be rude to completely ignore Rhodesy's effort :nodding:

What make/model is your laptop? Eitrher buy a battery that will extend it or buy a netbook with a bigger battery life. 6 hours isnt uncommon...

Also what Manc says... Go on your laptops website and see what the battery life is supposed to be... See if it's faulty... Then check for compatible alternatives if it's just a shit one. COMPATIBILITY IS KEY!

If your battery is "faulty" it may be under warranty, and perhaps get it replaced.

Just got a new one today from "Laptop bits"
Cost me £70 to get a new battery which lasts and hour and a half more than my old one, just so I can listen to 2 or 3 town matches abroad. Sigh

You could have found an internet cafe and listened to it for a fraction of that.

Spanish internet cafés = dictionary definition of a nightmare
I've tried out 3 or 4 in the past and they've all been inside, and it's like 40 degrees indoors. They're also incredibly slow and have a little ball as a mouse which is impossible to use. AND they're all right next to each other so you get no privacy at all. The bar I know of has air con, a free wireless connection and sofa's, much better!
(i'm sure you really wanted to know all that)

I'll just stick to going to the games instead, sounds much easier Found a decent internet cafe in Barca when I went there and the hotel I stopped in in Ibiza had free internet so I guess I got lucky.
