Me again,
Here is my problem.....
I rent a room and my landlord owns the house. We have some top notch internet and have a 50GB download limit. he informed me we are alreayd through 2/3rds of the months limit. I have only downloaded 600MB, I skype alot and he thinks this is the cause. I doubt I am the main cause so I downloaded a bandwidth meter for my laptop.
It seemed all fine until I turned my laptop on sleep, upon "waking it up" again, I again immediately checked my data usage and it had gone to 4gb/s!!! In the monet i turned it on from it been on sleep i immediately lost 400MB.......
I then shut down my computer and laoded up again and it was nothing liek this at tops 70kb/s........
Any ideas what is causing this? Or any recommendations for a bandwidth limter that works well with vista?
Help!

Do you use wireless? Is it protected? Could someone else be using it?
I dont really use Skype, does it use a video feed? As video streaming with count just the same as downloading.

Yes its wireless, but no one else is using it....the limiter is on my laptop anyway so i can see exactly how much i am using on my lappy
