As if last night wasn't fooking bad enough, I've now got a trojan virus on me laptop (don't laugh) And when I try remove it, this comes up Clicked yes 3 times, and (shock horror) it's crashed each time. I'm pretty clueless on these kind of things, and usually live in hope that my AVG free will protect me from anything, so now I basically haven't a clue how to get rid of it, and a brief google search hasn't really helped. Any suggestions?

It does nothing if I click no, I'm no genius but I'm pretty sure I shouldn't leave this alone, it's like noticing you have a giant spider on your head and thinking "oh well, be reyt".

Turn it off and then turn it back on again? Good idea, that should scare it off...

One way or another I THINK it's gone.. AVG kept giving me these alerts, they even told me I had a virus in a folder that I'd just deleted So I deleted AVG and got avast, which seems far better, it told me I had 6, it deleted them easily enough, then another scan said I had 1, which also got deleted(see avg there's no need to CRASH!).. whilst Trojan Remover has told me there's been nothing wrong at all.. as does Windows Defender It's about as confusing as a mongoose walking through the streets of Yeovil with a balloon in it's hand is all this virus malarky

be careful deleting system 32 files that are infected it will just kill your computer and will not reboot properly forever in a loop trying to restart. i had to load my shitty xp all over again lost everything with one of those trojan fookers. AVG spybot adaware could do naff all even norton didnt remove it.

Avira, Windows Defender, SpyBot and other programmes did not prevent this. My PC stuck in ''safe'' mode & permanently re-boots.
