A macbook 2.4ghz or this www.johnlewis.com/230498435/Product.aspxNot sure whether to go for a macbook or not but the fact they cant get virus's sounds very appealing after all the problems i have had with my current pc. any advice on best route to go down?

Macs tend to be a bit overpriced in comparison to PC Laptops but if you can afford they are very good. It all depends on what you want a laptop for I guess... If you're a designer who likes sharp gfx then a Macbook is better but if you're an internet browser and not much more then the extra expense is probably not worth it and it'd be more advisable to sniff out a good deal on www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/

Get the Mac, had a few of them over the years and never looked back. Contrary to the comment that Macs are for 'Geeks' PCs are for geeks in that if you want to spend half your time fixing your computer and worrying about viruses etc then a PC is ideal. If you just want it to work and do what you want then spend the extra and get the Mac.

i agree macs are for geeks
Pc's are alot better
Limited software for Mac and overpriced for what they are
I worked with them at a photography job wasnt nice
