???Following a lengthy battle with a couple trojans and advertising mal ware i am getting 2 messages when i start up my pc saying that the following " dll. " files are missing
Windows\ system32\bkrvrpxc.dll
Windows\system32\{e24f9c22-e3c0-77eb-70cd-f27bd62e28e9}.dll
I have tried a few 'missing dll' sites but cannot find either of them does anyone have any ideas where i can find them. However i have not noticed any difference in the performance of my machine without them. does anyone know what they are and what they do? Any help appreciated as the messages on start up are really starting to grate Cheers

although i could be totally wrong (i'm no expert or anything, i've just learned by experience/ trial and error ), it sounds like you haven't totally got rid of the malware/spyware and these programs are looking for these files etc. I can only suggest you backup any important files and have a complete reinstall of windows to guarantee you get rid of all the crud on your computer. I know this can be a pain but if you get into the habbit of backing up any precious documents or photos you have and knowing you can wipe your hard-drive periodically and get everything back to the way it was then it will save you a lot of grief in the long run.
Other tips, install a decent anti-virus, AVG is free for now and seems to work well, stop using Internet Explorer and choose an alternative web-browser. Install spybot S&D and use this to immunize your computer from a lot of the spyware/malware that is out there. If all else fails, say fook it and got to the pub and get blathered.
