Surely there must be a place that you can click that tells you the ghz, ram etc?

If you want really detailed information download the latest version of sisoft sandra (System ANalyzer Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant, don'tcha know :

What this cant tell you isn't worth knowing, but it may be overkill for your needs. It's free though.
