Can anyone out there tell me how easy and costly it is to put additional memory in a laptop. I have IBM ThinkPad R50e.

Relatively cheap (These Days) and very easy. Go to www.crucial.comDo a scan on your laptop, this will tell you exactly the kind of memory you require. You can even order it from them. Thanks for your help on this bbb. As you say it seems quite a reasonable price and easy to do. Shame I'm a bit of a numpty  but I'll have a bash at it. |
