I have a slight problem, every time I log in I have to do a disk cleanup before I can see any new messages. If I don't do this I am left looking at the same messages from when I last signed out with only one or two additions at most. I know this is not a big problem but I am unable to get any momentum with the posts. Also, I don't know if this happens to everyone but, if someone writes a post when I am already signed in I don't see it until I have signed out done a disk cleanup & signed back in. If anyone could help or advise me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you runs to sign out & clean disk to see if there are any replies

dont know if i get your enquiry right but. if you click the refresh button on your web browser all the latest posts show same as if you read one thread then come out of it all the new threads replies will show. check your settings on disk cleaning software as it shouldnt automatically run all the time, unless you have a knackered computer.

Hi BBB Thank you for your help, I am using Microsoft Windows XP, IE Version 7 & have about 16gb free space. Incidently, this could turn out to be embarrassing as when I went into system information, internet settings, cache & summary it does say 'page refresh type - never'. If this has anything to do with it, I firstly apologise & I secondly need to know how to change it to 'not never'. Thank you again

Ok can you tell me your version.
How to do this:
1. On your toolbar there is a question mark with blue background. 2. Click it 3. In the resulting dropdown menu select About Internet Explorer 4. A popup window will appear and the version number will be at the top.
The latest version is: 7.0.6000.16575
Im just trying to ensure your IE is fully patched and has all the latest bug fixes etc.
Also check the Cache settings in IE :
To Do this:
1. On your toolbar select Tools 2. In the resulting dropdown menu select Internet Options 3. Ensure the General tab is selected. 4. Under the Browsing History heading select Settings 5. In the result window called Temporary Internet Files make sure the Automatic radio button is selected. 6. Click OK and close all open windows. 7. Close IE and relaunch
That should sort it.
Let me know how you get on.

Firstly, thank you very much BBB for taking the time out to help. The blue question mark doesn't give me an about internet explorer option but according to the system information file version I am on 7.0.6000.16574. I have checked to see if I have any updates but according to microsoft they have all been done. I have also changed the page refresh to automatic as you explained When I sign on later today I will do so without doing a disk clean up. Thank you
