Just exchanged contracts on selling our flat and buying a house. Should be moving (barring any last minute disasters) on the 4th of Jan.
Finally we get our bedroom back and babybris gets to have her own room. At 19 months (well it'll be nearer 20 by the time we move).

The day I signed on the dotted for our house 01/04/85, I went back into work in the afternoon to be told I'd been made redundant it was a great way of bringing us down to earth

We put the offer in on buying the new place in August and accepted an offer on our flat in early October. This of course means we don't move until Christmas. Grrrrr.
Just round the corner really Larky. On Talbot Hill with lovely views to Kelston Roundhill.

Is 19 months a long time to still have your kid in your room? All I know is off that thing on C4 where that auld biddy got slated for using the 50s method of childcare and banishing newborns to a dusty attic and letting them howl until they've developed a proper stiff upper lip befitting one of Her Majesty's subjects.

Both our kids slept in our room until they were about 2 and one of them is perfectly normal.
Congrats Bris. Watch yourself though. I got made redundant 3 months after buying my house in 1996.

Cheers all.
Daley - I hope you're right.
Grove/TT - Not sure. Lots of people think we're weird, but she would have stayed in our room for at least 6 months even if we'd had another room for her. She's definitely at the stage now where she needs a room of her own.

Well done Brispie. THough what you and Daley are discussing sounds highly illegal at first reading.
