It doesn’t stand for anything really, it’s more of a feeling. For example, the feeling you experience just as a Scott Vernon shot hits the back of the Colchester net. However, it can be a negative thing, ie England defenders went AWAG in a bad way as Croatia scored at leisure.
Don’t get hung up on it and welcome to the AWAG experience.
