It takes more than the FA Cup to get me out of Hull nowadays.
We're already in the fourth round draw mind. You do right not to bother larky. World domination beckons for us.

I was actually seriously considering this as a mate who's in the navy based in plymuff has to go back down this weekend after a few weeks back in 'Ull However I heard Browny the other day giving it the old 'its time to let some of the fringe players show what they can do in the FA cup game' routine Rough translation: 'I'm playing the reserves and crocks, we're going to get dicked 6-0, don't bother coming' And then I came to my senses

If our reserves played in the Championship they'd be 10th.

Don't know what sort of a team Sturrock will put out. We seem to be selling/giving away all our players at the moment.
Plus - Sturrock when he was our manager before never treated any cup game very seriously

At the risk of intruding on your thread, I'm actually intrigued as to what team we'll play on Saturday. Larry's gone on record as saying he wants a good cup run, but that the league is more important. Our right back picked up his 5th booking for timewasting in the last minute against Colchester last Saturday and rather too conveniently is suspended. I think we'll have one or two get a run out, without wholesale changes (mostly because we don't have the players to do it) but I do have a sneaky suspicion we'll see our 17 year old who's on 26 for the season for the Youth Team and Ressies come off the bench. Bet he scores as well I still can't get over the boring-ness of it all. I mean Barnsley away

Larry's gone on record as saying he wants a good cup run, but that the league is more important. What are you trying to do in the league? Are you still worried about the drop or are you embarking on another ludicrous run of form to try and chase us down like last year? Because we could do without that quite frankly.

Getting to the 51/52 points mark ASAP (which at this rate will be about 9.55pm on the 12th February), and chasing you down in the process ;D We could really do without the hassle of going up this season though. It's bad enough being the Championship team of a Conference Club, without being the Premiership team of a Conference Club
