www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalLeagueTable/0,,10794~20107,00.html I must say, I am looking forward to our impending, spectacular self destruction over the next four games. We're going to have to be quite creative about it this time, but it will most assuredly happen.

You'd better get the lap of honour in now. We know how much you like the announcement of a premature lap of honour.

Not me, always hated 'em. I can still remember how I felt when I heard that STUPID STUPID nobber of an announcer. Quite apart from the whole superstition angle it was just fucking typical of the deranged mental-mentality of the club at the time and was rightfully punished. Probably by the ghost of Phil Suarez.

If there's one thing 12 years of working in telecoms has taught me, it's that muppetry is not zero-sum. There is no cornering the market in fucking-up, it is an endlessly renewable and plentiful resource.

Just one look at the bottom of the Division 4 table and the state of Northampton Town will back this arguement. I won't care once the new season comes along but right now I really don't want to go down to the chasm that is Non League football.

Ouch Boscom.
Thankfully, we are and will forever be 4 or 5 points away from the play-offs.
The premiership is as good and as bad as you could possibly imagine, Bernie.

Well, I'm not enumerating any poultry just yet, Toits. But if I were*, I fear it might be a slightly different experience for Cardiff (not in terms of performance, y'unnerstand, more the "welcomes" and publicity that might be attached to us.)

In my mind, Wales is just a cheap East Yorkshire with Swansea playing the role of Withernsea to your Hull. You just talk funnier than us.

Cheap east Yorkshire?! Well, fair enough, I suppose. There ARE a lot of Greggs and Wetherspoons. And slags.
I have virtually no trace of any accent whatsoever these days. Except Skånsk, of course.

I think the business plan is:
1) Go up, get the extra money, stave off some creditors 2) Get relegated, see off some more creditors with the parachute payment then notice we signed a deal some where in the last ten years to give Sam Hammam 200,000,000 pounds for "consultancy fees", go bankrupt 3) Free-fall through the leagues and end up playing Barry Town every week in some tinpot league even the PLATE! would piss. Newport get promoted to Championship.
