Just checked our family tree and my grandad was stationed there during the war.If anyones got a spare Cup Final ticket then you could make a true* Stoke fan very happy

Only in the same way that everyone will one day be a putrefying, rotted corpse. Same thing, I suppose.

Ha ha. At least we've done something to wipe the stain from the FA Cup Final from having a foreign club in it

Foreign team winning it, you mean. Come back when you've got triangular corner flags.

Foreign team winning it, you mean. Come back when you've got triangular corner flags. I won't be happy until we have flags back on halway lines. Football's been down hill since they went.

You could put a barrier along the halfway line and it wouldn't make much difference to Stoke's game.
Well done btw.

This could mean of course an celebratory open top bus ride through Stoke the day after, with thousands proclaiming the great work done by Pulis-with a statute of him to follow in years to come.
Thats something I've just got to see ;D

I'll only go along with that if we can shake the long ball tag. I know we scored five yesterday, but there's nothing to admire in the way they all came about from set pieces and hoofs.

Stoke should be more like Arsenal. They play the beautiful game how it is meant to be; with grace, style and dignity.

Kenny Dalglish has always been admired in my house but his value went up a couple more notches yesterday.
Based on my experience of the premiership, Arsenal are the worsest losers and biggest cheaters in the whole corrupt mess.

My favourite Wenger moment was when he wanted to ban long throws because they gave us an advantage. I'm not sure how he intended to do this but it would have set an interesting precedent, banning players from doing what they're good at. Although in the case of Cesc Fabregas whose main role seems to be whining, diving, trying to get other people sent off and committing niggly fouls maybe that's not a bad thing.

"Up the road at Wembley, Stoke City, a team that Wenger has in the past derided for their "rugby tactics", stuck five goals past Bolton to set up an FA Cup final against Manchester City, another team whose ethics Wenger has questioned. One of them will enjoy a silver-lined finish to the season. Despite what Wenger perceives as Arsenal's superior brand of football, his side will surely not."
Just saying.

Stoke have gained glory hunters.
Example 1 at work yesterday "The City was always going to win, we beat Newcastle Town 4-0 last week and they've got Alan Carrol playing for them".
Fuck me.
I'll piss off down Vale Park and cry if these bastards beat City. I'd hang meself but Wenger has bought all the rope going for that.

I don't see how you can have glory hunters in a one club town like Stoke

They were obviously Meir KA fans in a former life.
I wonder how many Farside Ultras at Alsager Town are no regretting it.
