The words round and Merkin can cause a level of confusion.

Everyone is a Stokie deep down?
I'm fucking not.
Our season is over in disgrace, and turmoil. Meanwhile those twats from Hanford incinerator are having the time of their fucking lives.
Roll on pre-season when Pewlis plays for a 0-0 draw against Kidsgrove Athletic.
On the plus they've lost Fuller and Etherington for the cup final. Ha fucking ha!.

Oh dear. You don't deserve it you know. Nobody could have predicted Jim Gannon would behave like a total wand. Nothing in his previous behaviour would have led you to believe that. Not for a moment.

We all knew he was a wand. Our much beloved directors of the board listened to nobody and were impressed with his photo taking and telling them what they wanted to hear.
Meanwhile in the real world, he's a turd.

It's near to Stoke's ground. Basically what it boils down to is Vale fans are so enraged that the natural order has been resumed following a 24 month period several years ago when they finished above us in the league, they are now reduced to trying to associate us with local waste facilliies. Next month - Vale get excited because an unemptied bin has been spotted in Blurton. That'll learn us

Sometimes you have to wonder of the football gods have been working their magic,in this case for ther sacking of John Rudge who was their most loyal servant. The punishment was Rudgey to Stoke (academy manager or something?) and then the demise that followed leaving Stoke to rise to their present level.
I think they're intervention accounts for Tangerines Evils good fortunes, after their 28 years in the wilderness and what looks like another year in the top flight. At the same time a punishment has been handed out to PNE for their misdemeanours, and of course the football gods have decreed it has to happen at the same time.

To be serious for once, IMO the problem for Vale has been that the most successful period in their history coincided with the worst in ours, so after years of living in our shadow, they got the idea in their heads that the balance of power had shifted, forgetting that in football success and failure are only ever fleeting and in the longer term teams tend to bob around some certain point in the League, only occasionally suddenly shooting up or down two divisions. Witness gravity starting to take hold of Wigan.
Now we have the converse where our most successful team in decades has coincided with them appointing a total wanker as manager when they looked a good bet for promotion and you have them in the mindset they are in. They still think they are our rivals and they're not. That is years off but there's no reason why it can't happen again.

Unless they fuck off the board of directors that believe you can progress on good intentions rather than hard cash, then the wait will be a long one.

I was told to enjoy because one day they'll be above us. NOBODY SAID FA CUP FINALS THOUGH!!!!!! John Rudge was sacked, after 18 years at Vale, wasn;t given a thanks by our previous knob of a chairman and rightfully took a job at Stoke. Now it's no surprise that Stoke have come along the way they have for me if they have Rudgie. Good luck to 'em, but don't bloody win owt.

I think any competition that is looking to increase its profile is doomed. There must be a Law.
Also, when an MD announces that he will 'double a company's turnover in five years', that company is fucked. Most of them announce that when they start a job in my experience.

I saw a wheelie bin cleaning truck yesterday on the A46 near Coventry. Ash_Tongate seems to have expanded his business.
