Is this about old Dusty Bin Laden?
I was astonished to read Imran Khan, as reported by the Independent:
"If the Pakistan government or the army had this intelligence, why did we not take out Bin Laden ourselves? Why did we have to rely on the Americans coming over from their airbases in Afghanistan? Equally disturbing is the tremendous level of distrust the US has for the Pakistanis, which led it to jam the radars during the duration of the operation."
I think the answer may be in the question, if you know what I'm saying there, Imran. I wonder what Boycott's view is? Mike Gatting would probably have something earthy and Anglo-Saxon to say on the matter, given his past history.

i was heartened to hear that the neighbours said they kept themselves to themselves
"The neighbours knew the owners of the house – the courier and his brother, described as ethnic Pashtuns – as secretive types. They dispatched children to buy food at local shops, and although they regularly prayed at a local mosque, they didn't engage in small talk."

I'm surprised they didn't get discovered by entrepreneurial local kids. Apparently they gave children money if they knocked a cricket ball over the wall rather than letting them in to find it. The temptation to keep hitting balls over to get money would be strong, unless you knew that the people inside were likely to strap a bomb on you and make you cycle over to the local army base.

Been there done it Ralphy boy. It's not nice and there's no jubilation like staying up in any other division, just pure relief that its all over and determination to make sure it doesn't happen again.
