Yes, yes. Well done QPR. And well done Cardiff City on another season of pathetic bottling shit when it actually mattered.

What, at some point in his career? Possibly.

Peter Shilton said that at 16 Stephen Bywater was the finest young goal-keeper he had seen and was a shoe in for an England career.
We only ever let him play one game for us, a 6-1 defeat at Carlisle.

..and we sold McAnuff. (Why isn't there a "smiley" for crying desperate, bitter tears while pounding one's fist on a desk?)
On the bright side, we'll be selling loads of these useless bastards too. Along with pretty much everything else.

Do you go bust now? Or just up the stadium valuation by another £50m and borrow a bit more against it.

Can't Cardiff pretend to be members of the Welsh FA to avoid penalties?

I have been prepared for failure ever since the 6-0 tonking by Preston in 2009. If I have read the various confusing blog posts right, we might have until 2014 before it all goes really fucking mental, that being when the mysterious Langstone company, to whom we owe more than twelfty billion Monrovian sheckels, absolutely want their cash back.
Doesn't quite work that way, Sparky. I can cite several examples of us being investigated for things by the FA, which they later clear us of and then subsequently getting punished by the Welsh FA for the same charges. It's a conspiracy, obviously.

I never understand stuff. I tried reading something a while back about some offshore mortgage account for the stadium and concluding I had more chance understanding quantum.

It's simple. He's from the present, gets involved in some experiment with time what goes wrong, and he goes back to the past to fix stuff so that he will end up back in the future he's expecting. Only he can see Dean Stockwell, if that was the sticking point. Otherwise, this makes some sort of crazy, frightening sense (rendered even more harrowing for me by the huge pictures of spiders) thelonegunmanblog.blogspot.com/

A helpful suggestion: get rid of the Scouser & bring the Boss out of retirement.

At least he has a bit of PASHUN. I can't imagine New Jersey's finest Telecaster-wielding, denim-clad, gravel-voiced, singing mechanic just standing there in the dugout with his arms folded. Even during the "Nebraska" period.

the commentator last night insisted your man jones was rallying his troops, as the camera rested on him looking bewildered and very quiet indeed.

That's what's been missing all season, a bit of showmanship. Winger is right to suggest The Boss.

I wouldn't mind the lack of showmanship if he was capable of motivating players, developing players, signing decent players, picking a suitable squad, making sensible substitutions or displaying any sort of tactical nous.
A scouse without nous.

A long time ago, Stephen Bywater was ace for us for a short while.
Hard luck Bernice. Our monotone passionless messiah does my head in sometimes too.

Ah fuck it, it's only football. And when I left the YOuuuKayyy we had just been relegated back to the old third division anyway. So the last 11 years or so are just a sort of weird parallel reality. Especially as we only seemed to be playing teams like Crewe, Swansea or Hull every time I was back in time for a match ;-)

I have the feeling that Swansea going up will burn everyone in Cardiff like the heat from a thousand suns. Still, you'll have millwall and west ham to fight next season at least.

I know it's unfair based on past reputations. But you can show a bin who's boss.
