is on how we have developed special paint and night-vision techniques to help allies recognise allied tanks and not blow them up by mistake.
call me old-fashioned but teaching the allies what shape allied tanks are and what markings they're likely to have would probably be as effective and far far cheaper.

To get back on thread............
I should imagine anything that would light an allied vehicle up like a Beleisha Beacon (sp? can't be bothered to look it up) which would then hopefully stop the yanks from blowing the fucker to kingdom come (assuming of course they would be on our side) would be a good thing.

fucking hell - what's happened to everybody on here - it's so spasticated I feel like setting up a justgiving page for the place.
that's why its special paint and jame gumb style goggles.
painting a tank in standard Ali G style combats wouldn't help one fukcing bit.
however, if they enemy got hold of these special goggles then we'd also be fucked
no wonder we spend so much money on defence...complicated business
