Seems so. But hey, the club will survive, what with the backing of the loyal band of supporters who kept the Cherries going last time, supporters like andysi.... oh.
Not that I can complain, I've only been along approximately* once this season.

Ooh I just beat you with my two. I must have been bad in a previous life.
There are a lot of clubs looking for investment at the moment. Surely there's only so much to go around?

We're having a lot of "the board should sell!" horseshit at the moment. As if anyone would invest in us! Even if they would, if we're in as much trouble as a few seem to think, they'll wait till admin and get us on the cheap. Not sure why anyone would put money into lower division football, this season has been depressing across the leagues from a financial point of view.

Somebody offered us a million, live on radio Nottingham last night. The chairman happened to be on the phone in and laughed the offer off. There's bound to be loads more. Isn't there?

For what, though? The club or the ground? Lots of boards don't want to be remembered as the blokes who sold the club to property developers. Often the land the ground stands on is the only thing of worth - you have to ask yourself why people want to buy enterprises that consistently lose money (we made a profit last year - woohoo!). Very tricky balancing act, especially when sides are doing poorly on the pitch, like Vale and Notts.

99% of people who buy football clubs are either crooks or idiots, normally the latter

We don't own the land that our ground is on. We never have. Neither have f****t. It must be a Nottingham thing. The lease got made extremely watertight only recently so for a developer to put anything other than a football ground on the site would be nigh on impossible. Therefore, I'm reckoning the bloke must be an idiot.

No assets and can't see where any investment would come from plus the general compassion fatigue of the people who raised the money to bail the club out last time (fans). Doesn't look good.

There are mumblings that our current happiness will soon be crashing back down into a pit of debt and admin.

Unfortunately AFCB have had literally thousands out of me that I couldn't afford over the years and I'm not coughing up any more.

If it all goes tits up and any of your clubs go bust you should come and support us, the travelling might be a pain but at least it's free to get in once you're here

AB - The council did draw up a masterplan for some riverside development that would have involved offices and flats. Meadow Lane was mysteriously missing from this. This caused a big ruckus at the time (as the lease was held by the council), but when we came out of admin the lease was purchased by the bloke who bailed us out and it was re-written so that the his estate (he has since died), the club and the council would all have to be consulted if any party wanted the lease changing.
It doesn't sound good at Bournemouth.

Don't even get us started on our club and ground.
At least your team/club and your ground are all part of the same company....

There's always something to complain about - just look at our message board if you don't believe me. I looked at it the other day and somebody had posted a page-long complaint about the fact that his season-ticket seat had a dirty footprint on it.

We don't even have season ticket seats. You just sit where you want. One of the few pleasures of having a ground way too big for your average support.
