Lower tiers were closed to save cash -
Not that there were all that many in the upper tiers, but it was nice to see Millwall score

I think you broke him on Saturday, but fingers crossed
Our injury list looks like a KIA roll from the Somme at the moment

He was hardly going too turn down our offer of three pounds fifty a week, some lingerie and biros that Theo left lying about and a pair of tickets to see the Spice Girls at the O2 was he?

You've got BigNuts now...he'll run through walls and won't break.

I believe you might be getting Kevin Betsy too. He's quite good at helping out with the commentary on Radio Bristol but not so good at playing football.

I like Bignot - first properly solid full back we've had since Muscat.
Betsy eh? Good solid Millwall name that - we're supposedly after some other winger from palarse as we've broken all of ours - beggars can't be choosers

Biggy is a solid RB - watch out for him missing headers at the back post though. If a ball is crossed from deep on the right he can struggle to get the height to challenge the attacking players.

He should just nut them in the plums and be done with it - I've always been a fan of niggly evil in my team

Did Bircham ever play for Milwall?

Did Bircham ever play for Milwall? Yes. He's just back from injury at Yeovil and got a broken head 30 minutes into the game.

Ahh, Bircham - Got himself a nice big lion tattoo (despite being a QPR fan) then we went and booted him on a Bosman.
People still want him back to run around in circles
Him and Livermore together: Useless, but funny - We had Ifill and Steven Reid on the wings keeping things moving in those days so we could afford a comedy double bill in central midfield

Didn't you have Tim Cahill in those days too? Surely he wasn't left out for Bircham?

I thought he did. I've hated him every time we played QPR (largely because he simply didn't seem able to actually perambulate the perambulation as well as he vocalised the vocalisation) but would have probably loved him if he'd played for us.
Has his broken head still got a stupid blue line dyed down the middle of it?

Nah - he got rid of it ages ago. Stoke love him too.

Pear - what was your view of Forbesy? We spent half of last week arguing about him on AVFTT.

Marc "I walked to the '82 Cup Final on my own with me mates" Birchum. Stop talking arrant nonsense man. You would have been three or four at the time in which case you'd be Marc McCann.

Cahill used to sit out half of every season with spells of knee knack, bircham was his errm, understudy.
The minute little Tim's knees were cobbled together with something more sturdy than prit stick Birch's days were numbered
Forbes has made a good early impression running around like a lunatic. We're suckers for effort at the Den though
