Though the Cult Of Fruit are particularly stupid, I don't think even THEY are daft enough to crow about the fact that they are paying nearly twice as much for their aspirational ornament* as J Brad Cheesburger III Jr is shelling out for his. Unless their minds really DO work that way..

Whilst I won't defend the price, I will point out that it is cheaper and faster than its main competitor - the Sony Vaio TZ series. (I think.) If there are people with more money than sense the laws of the free market state that an entrepreneur should be able to create a more efficient distribution of resources by parting such people from their excess wealth.

I will retract the £500 statement. I just found one for £1256.08 - but it has 1GB RAM and Intel Core 2 Duo 1.066GHz.
