Stoke will do it, I read it in the dregs of my Lem-Sip earlier

We'll have a bash as always* but I think it might be unlikely.
*excluding all the times when we went out in the first round, obviously

We're getting pretty fed up with it now. Will probably bow out tomorrow and give somebody else a chance.

I expect us to be bored with it very soon as Paul Sturrock does not appear to like Cup competitions

Excited about the third round away to the holders and West London rivals? Yeah...a bit.

It is actually impossible to be excited about Barnsley away. We've all tried.
Still, I have the delights of the Metrodome Leisure Complex to look forward to, I'll be there from about 12.45 if anyone wants a pint ;D

It would have been lovely to go to this one actually. Now no gloating if you win, got that?

Hey. I'm sure I replied to this.
Stupid cup.
We were gash. We had no right back, two left backs (one of whom was John Hills), our right winger had to go off at half time and was replaced with a central midfielder.
We were one up, brought the cavalry on in the shape of Hoolahan and Andy Morrell, and before either of them had touched the ball we were 2-1 down.

Michael Owen was his usual invisible gilt-edged scoring chance missing useless self. Maybe he thought he was playing for England or summat.

I don't think that's entirely frair on Owen, his record for Engurland is pretty good.
How the phuck are Bury still in it?
