51,000 fans every home game must produce some good revenue and they employ Sam ' bigger head than Campo' Alardyce. Good decision getting rid of the twat if you ask me.

Alan Shearer as manager is the perfect punishment for fans that call for Alan Shearer as manager.
Everyone's happy (at least in the short term).

Their attendances were poor when they were in division two (Championship) and we played them a few times. If their fans were that loyal they would of* stuck with them in the difficult times

I remember the good old days when we did them 2-0 at their place in front of 17,000. That was only 1991.

i'd resign on the spot, if only because of that lizard thing he does with his tongue

The best thing that could happen for all parties would be if Shearer got the job. They'd do well for a couple of games then it would all come crashing down (again)
They are the best fans in the world because they take their shirts and shoes off in cold weather, wacky.

They're mid-table, the manager has only been there a few months and they sack him. Pathetic really.
