A friend of mine declared today that he didn't think "Stuart Elliot would leave Hull because he's very religious"
Comprende? Is Hull the new Vatican City or something? ;D

Tis True. He worships at some church that only exist in Nireland, London, Glasgow and Hull. Or something. One of the others might know more. I might do some digging if not.
I think one of Paddy's mates is either very religious or really on the pisstake and he sort of knows him.

what turtle said, he worships some bizarre god who gives him superhuman goalscoring and heading powers but who wreaks great vengeance upon those who try to tackle and pass
I'll miss stuey, god bless him

Yes, one of my acquaintances attends the same church as Stuart and has been known to miss games because of religeous commitments. Bizarre, I know.
Stuart has always maintained that 'God' told him to come to Hull.
My friend stayed with Stuarts family when he went to the Norn Ireland v England debacle.
