Just wanted to ask you techy boys a question or 2.
I use Google as my browser but find it rather slow and its keeps prompting me use Google Chrome and friends use others like Mozilla Firefox.
If I change to another browser which is best or better than Google then 1/ can I keep my e mail address which is a gmail one and 2/ would this affect my favourites which include bank accounts ie would it be a seamless and pain free transfer?

I don't understand you Jim. You say you use Google but that is just a search engine not a browser. Do you mean internet explorer which is standard on most pcs. If so it's dead easy to change to Firefox or chrome. Doesn't affect you being able to use Google as search engine or banks or the like

If so it's dead easy to change to Firefox or chrome. Doesn't affect you being able to use Google as search engine or banks or the like also it's easy to import all your bookmarks/favourites. i switched to chrome, but that seems to get slower, but sometimes think that's because the pc i use is 6 years old, not necessarily because of chrome. you can do anything on any browser, they just might do it in a slightly different way, which once you get used to it probably doesn't make any difference. eg. when i download something on internet explorer i used to prefer it to the way it works on chrome, but now am used to it. Stopped using Internet explorer as something got corrupted and it wouldn't remember passwords. but as the machine lost it's C drive recently and had to have xp re-installed it does seem to work faster (probably as i had to re-install all my software, so got rid of loads of unnecessary stuff i'd installed over 6 years).
