Deano is a shrewd businessman. Megson hasn't got a prayer of landing the job otherwise there will be many like me that will be calling it a day after 41years of following town.

What exactly has Megson done wrong to warrant fans to protest they wont go again if he is in charge

i wasnt there today because of work, was we really that bad. Yes we were; to be fair we had a couple of chances and had we taken them (ifs, buts, maybes etc) perhaps (possibly, who knows) it might have been different but they were faster, slicker and sharper than us with a higher workrate. Though Megson was seen at the game there is no evidence that a decision has been taken. Though no other candidate was seen, if in work they would have been with their present team. I am not ruling out Coyle but it is looking like Megson IMHO.

He has a reputation for being "old school" & the brand of football he employs is awful to watch, IMO
I will still go though

The difference being we wanted good football and promotion then. We want to stay up now. I'd be muh happier seeing us play poorly and stay up than go down playing well.

He'll shrink the pitch to the minimum size possible.....fill it with eleven 7'5" players with the tactics of getting throw ins and free kicks in the final 3rd.
It will be awfull.....

I really don't see how the club would benefit from appointing Megson at all? Ten years ago, maybe, but not any more - from what I've seen of his teams it's always 4-4-2 playing longball, which just doesn't work at this level any more. I'd have thought it'd make sense to go for someone a bit younger and with a decent track record who might perhaps bring some fresh ideas to the team rather than go with a manager who's done pretty much nothing in the game since he was manager at West Brom 10 years ago. That said, Adkins was 1/4 last week, Pressley was 1/4 earlier this week, no reason why Megson will get it just because those are his odds...

We were awful today. Derby finished well but not a great outfit by any means.
Norwood was like a child amongst men.

'Wednesday are the Barcelona of League 1'
I will do a little bit of sick in my mouth if we make a mistake as big as appointing Megson but will still turn up pulling a Prozac drip in my wake.
