Staying out of it is massive, very unlikely but Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley and Wolves could all go above us on Monday, leaving us needing a result at Bolton to get back out of it..... Blackburn will be seriously jittery now a tough run in (town excluded) and in no sort of form and would probably prefer to be playing in Pyongyang than Ewood. Bristol City look gone, anyone agree? Maybe the derby defeat will hurt Barnsley as they were on a super run but David Flitcroft is apparently so positive it is unlikely they will fail to be hurt by such a defeat, yesterday despite the lack of width I was convinced we still had the personal to get something from the game, I am unsure of the Norwood and Beckford bashing they were as poor as most of the others, only Dixon deserves any credit.... Which leads me to ask we isn't he on corners and why didn't he take the late free kick, Danny Ward is one of the worst set piece takers we have had..... Finally I was embarrassed by yesterday's performance and so should the players but we have a young dressing room of playboys and millionaires who are set for life, You would like to think they wouldn't relegation on their CV but it won't make one bit of difference to them, one or two players are immune from this criticism. Vaughan, Clarke, Gerrard.

Agree with your views - but - Beckford has done nothing here - Norwood and Clayton, weak medfield duo, too inconsistant, as you say all the team had a bad day at the office - but we have too many bad days - do you think the loan players are bothered if we stay up or go down, they are gone at the end of season. Dixon was the best on Saturday, we always get caught by teams running round the back of defenders. Bringing Ward and Scannell on gave the opportunity to play wide - we didnt........... Bottom 3 on Tuesday morning i think - Bolton had 2 players sent off yesterday - this maybe in our favour. Just depends which Town team turn up on Tuesday evening...

I'm more positive about your team than alot of you are I still stand by that we will both be safe before the last game. After being sent off the other night Wes Morgan is banned tomorrow and Leicester are six without a win and come to us off the back of a poor TV game. Hopefully we can quiten the two thousand they are bringing. On tuesday you play an in form team with Bolton but every team have a blip. We are away at Parlarse next setdy and away at Cardiff the following tuesday for our game in hand. Those two away in four days it couldn't probably be any harder. We would then need to win our two home games (Derby/Charlton) and hope for another win or two draws somewhere.

If we hit the bottom 3 we're fucked, we'll never get back out. Sadly I have to agree with that statement and I have no faith in this management team to turn it round.

Why is that numbers?! I think theyve done ok thus far - expected nowt at leeds or versus boro and we won! Lost yesterday and in several other games when i expected it......only disappointing results so far v charlton and ipswich when the players let him down imho. This squad is good enough to stop up talent wise but can it do it when the big games come up between now and may?! Judge the new management team when they have balanced a lopsided underperforming squad in the summer.

We have no chance of staying up if Robins persists with 442. Four central midfielders in a flat midfield simply doesn't work.

Ward's free-kick was truely awful, but surely he only took it because both Norwood and Clayton weren't on the field.

Well you did have a ref who amongst other things gave you a penalty for handball when it smacked Sir Bobby Hassell square in his face.

Apart from the Pen he gave us sweet FA and sent off Buxton for nothing, he was dogshit for us, but I've noted how quiet you lot are now, you all thought you were gonna hammer us lol

Beckford was a lone front man with Vaughan out wide left almost all game, until the late subs. Beckford as a lone front man will never work, due to his "work ethic". We only had two up top when Scannell was brought on and Vaughan moved alongside Beckford. Agree with the sentiment that the tactics were not great, but 4-4-2 it most certainly wasn't.

The only way we were going to beat Hull yesterday, was to get down the flanks and get some quality crosses in. Trouble is, we dont have anyone who can cross the ball.
Having Vaughan out wide was just plain stupid and a complete waste and if we are to avoid relegation!! he as to be our main stiker.

You've been bottom 6 all year and deservedly so. Ur manager is clueless and no amount of Mandaric bent money on jones crap signings will save u. Barnsley and Town will engineer a nice safe draw final day to send you back to league one, where u can be massive again.

One 7 defeat on the trot and one 6, most team would of been cut adrift by that stat.

I appreciate you're generally a reasonable poster on this board, but trust me, none of my posts about Wednesday's impending doom will 'haunt me'. Unlucky late equaliser today. God help those that have to listen to that cretin Jones' onnoxious convoluted shite excuses for the latest points dropped. Watch out for that 0-0 Town Barnsley scoreline last day ;-)

Kirkland was fouled and Deadman let him score, the pope would've be been swearing.

Joe, how on earth is Leroy a reasoned poster?
He's been doing a sound impression of an arsehole ever since he/she registered for this board...
BTW Leroy, interesting that you're bemoaning a poor decision, as you said to us on here after the phantom dismissal, get over it...

Kirkland was fouled and Deadman let him score, the pope would've be been swearing. Genuine question...was he fouled because a Brizzle player made contact with him and Kirkland didn't get the ball, or was it actually a challenge which would've been penalised had it been between two outfield players? Keepers get way too much protection with seemingly a combination of contact from an opposing player and failing to catch the ball being an automatic free kick at least 95% of the time.

He won't know the answer to that!!! Leroy will have been at home in Sheffield listening to the radio, pants round ankles with his Kleenex ready to knock one out over the MASEEEEVE going above us on goal difference!!!!!!

No you don't. Looks pretty similar to ours and about 1/2 of the division. linkMakes pretty unpleasant reading for Blackburn fans.
