Just been told by my friend who doesn't usually make rubbish up that town have come to an agreement with the examiner for them to sponsor next seasons away shirt. Part of the agreement though is that town have to keep all signings quiet until the shirt is released when all the new signings will be published in the paper wearing the new shirt. This makes me wonder who we may have already signed.

Does Puma make a shirt big enough for him?

could maybe see the examiner being sponsor (does dean have an issue with them over the shares?) but cant see the keeping the signings quiet/shirt reveal being true. would be very hard to keep them quiet for a start - given how most leak when signings are near complete

Can't see The Examiner making enough money to sponsor a local under 12's side let alone a Championship side.
They are to journalism what Akinfenwa is to football.

I'm sure Deano would love to team up with The Examiner especially after their hard hitting, no nonsense, take no prisoners style investigation into the shares issues

loads of rubbish, only way we will have the examiner logo on the shirts, if it is like the stafflex or dual seal being a secondary sponsor. Cant see Town giving the examiner any sweeteners like player unveiling either

I can't even really see what the Examiner would stand to gain if they did sponsor Town? Surely everyone in the local area is well aware of it and no-one from anywhere else will care because of, y'know, it being a local paper.

Maybe they have put two and two together and realised there is a lot of advertising space on Akinfenwa. (I've seen him play a couple of times - quick feet for a big lad - definitely a heavier weight signing than Alan Alan Lee)
