I wonder of Clibbens Jnr is actually any good, or whether it's just a spot of nepotism. I think nepotism can only get you so far ie. into the academy in the first place. If he's been signed as a scholar (?) then he must be pretty decent. Hzw good was Paul Macari?

Not good enough to make a single 90 minute appearance at either Stoke, Sheffield United or Town. Brother Mike also given a chance thanks to dad, nepotism at its finest.

He looks strong and links up well with a good work rate. A little slow on the turn but clearly knows where the back of the net is. Impressed with a few last night albeit against Emley.

Of the players I've not seen before, I was impressed with Spencer and Coughlan. Coughlan had some really nice touches while Spencer was running the show until he got clattered and then lost it a bit. If we can toughen him up we could have a good player there.

Bojaj is a proper penalty box striker find him and he will score goals of he can do it at first team level is another thing won't know unless he is given a go.

I note that in the U-18s match v Boro' today, there was an Adam Edgar playing as a trialist. Checking him out, he is not a relative of the unfortunate David, but rather an Aussie.
Anyone know more?

Jesus, I've seen better football in the District League Reserve Divisions. More like a competition to see which defence could look the shittest, good to see our inability to defend isn't restricted to just the first team

The generosity of Christmas come early.

With the greatest of respect to Guiseley I thought Charles should at least be playing in the football league.
Good news about Boyle however.

Its only a month's loan so hopefully he'll play well and a league club will come knocking if he's not going to feature for us.
