Can Admins Merge Some Threads?

Would it be possible to merge all flag/crowdfunding threads into the original one?

That thread had a good 7 pages of good ideas and lots of people offering to contribute money, however with the creations of multiple new ones all saying the same thing it's now turned into a bit of 'I don't like X flag/ or 'Vote for these' etc and it risks drifting off into obscurity without any direction or cohesion.

If there's one thread for all this stuff where people can see everything in one place then it will have a lot more momentum.

Understand everyone's good intentions but personally feel with it all fragmented it does more harm than good, especially if the end outcome is going to be asking people to give their money towards something.

What do you think?

PS - also as an extra cheeky request what would the chances be of getting it pinned for a week or so? Really feel it has to potential to be something good but just needs a bit of steering/moderation.

Hi bud, no don't think so.

The flag thing (as it stands) looks to have died on its arse, which I think is due in-part to a plethora of superfluous thread being created all saying the same thing, which just muddled it all up a bit.

Maybe merge 'em all in to the original thread and ask people to keep the discussion in one place? Think that way it would be more effective.

Also a cheeky pin might reignite it. Think it has legs this but needs a bit of management so it doesn't descend into a fragmented half-arsed could have been.

Hi mate, Had a quick look and cant really see which ones you want merging. There was 1 with a vote, 1 about a display and then the original flag crowd funding thread.. These the ones you want? I can merge them all if you want but might be a bit of a mess... Perhaps best idea is to bump the original and continue it on there. Ill definitely sticky it if you do.

Ah right no worries - maybe they've been deleted then? There was about 4 at one point.
