Hardly a minority when over 1000 people have signed up. I know it's not a minority ... that's why I put it in italics ... it's that we've been called a minority by Kenneth Davy before ...

Sean, I think you're a top man for answering some pertinent questions on this bored, but you've failed to answer the most important ones.
1./ Is it ok to shout norty swear wurds at the Barnsley fans? 2,/ What was the writing on the sheet of paper? 3./ Who was the fella in the mask?
I'm well sure that if you give accurate answers to these queries the doubters fears will be allayed.
And then they was me.

Thrups, crucial questions and, may I say, well made.
Well done, sir.
(Thanks to Sean Jarvis for his post)

Amazes me when all ive heard for years is we need better communication with the club etc and then when eventually someone from the club comes on(in their own time) to try to address some of the problems within his remit he gets called offensive terms and told to go back to uncle ken etc... I wouldnt bother anymore if I were him with those sort of responses... What could potentially have been a really useful line of mutual cooperation has more than likely been knocked ont he head at the first stage because of some peoples idiotic responses...

Yeah, you're right. Better some communication than none at all. I just hope Sean replies again. If you want to, take what he says with a pinch of salt but to those who did call him a "Muppet" and a "Bullshitter" it's just not helpful. We know you can't take anything you see on the internet as 100% truth but there's no need for that. And Sean - I urge you to keep posting on here - don't be scared off by a couple of insults. The vast majority want to talk to you and want you to keep responding.

Sorry andyhudd - just wanted to stress the point.
Whenever there was debate it was said that DATM was a small minority. You only have to look at a captainslapper post to see what KD thought of us.
What they and he didn't realise is quite how many people are part of the DATM community. Slowly the club is beginning to realise this.
Just a thought. When you look at the Sean's got posting on here imagine what response Ken Davy would have had!

Agree whole heartedly We have been craving communication from the club and to be honest some of the responses on here are quite embarrasing (no doubt i will get slagged off for this observation ). Although there are valid issues with Davy it would seem that the level of cyncism levelled at the clubs hierarchy makes any sort of dialogue impossible even at this level. What hope is their for future diallogue? Surely the commercial director can only address issues within his remit? I for one welcome any sort of communciation. Question is Sean, can you get a caterer that will stop watering down the beer ?

Thanks Sean
Whteher you agree or disagree with what he says (and in any sort of business, nobody will ever be 100% happy) the communication is the key as bro points out above.
Its unfair to ask Sean Jarvis to comment or be expected to answer questions outside of his control - i'm sure if he could answer, he would accept that whilstwe might have spent over budget, spending just 41% of income on wages is nothing short of underinvestment - the list could continue...
But its not his duty or his role. Imo, he's saying it at it is, keeping fans involved and up to date by as many means as possible - and is doing a very good job.
The one thing i would add - i think the recent under 7s schemes, fans of the future initiatives etc are all good schemes which benefit the long term future of the club. However, if you're a seven year old kid wanting to go to a football match you need someone to take you!! Some will persuade their parents but we need to ensure the benefits of these schemes are maximised by boosting the core support.
ie) Avaerage attendances have fallen 3,500 in two years to the stage where sat's attendance was less than our average two seasons ago - that says a lot about the leadership at the very top, ie) davy over the past two seasons.
Only if these fans return will we see the real benefit of the fans of the future schemes.

Thanks Sean for coming on and communication with the people that partly pay your wages.
But to me - it's not what you say, it's what you do and ultimately that is what you will be judged on.
