They will be in league 1 and in administration within four years, after the Azerbaijanis become tired of throwing away money and their country get's annexed by Putin. Obviously I loathe Wednesday and wish nothing but failure on them, still can't see this being a happy ending.

I wish them well, their promotion odds have been now slashed to 8/1, their new fella is a very rich bloke who owns two other clubs, they will be in the Premier League within a few years fact.

To be fair , they are a sleeping Giant. This guy isn't daft either. Now owns 3 clubs, as well as having shares in 2 others. Bought Lens this time last year when they were in Ligue 2 , promoted to Ligue 1 after 1 season. |

Waiting for first person to mention the MASSIVE tag which means nothing to any club except sheff utd and is tongue in cheek. As a starting point , lets revisit the first post you ever wrote in 2013 .. Though I think "upset" is the wrong term.. Maybe "bored" might be more apt "As a owls fan who lives in huddersfield i think we should worry about ourselves leroy or we could have egg on our faces. And Iv never minded huddersfield thought they are a decent lot personally so why come across so smug when our survival not guaranteed." |

Too late for the Owls - with FFP rules to kick in, they will NOT be able to buy promotion.
Forest tried last season and failed dismally - soon nearly every championship team will have a foreign investor desperately trying to outdo each other.
Leicester succeeded in the nick of time eventually, but Cardiff are already back down despite spending big. Even QPR needed a lucky win to get back to the PL and finished below Burnley in the race for automatic when their wage bill was SIX times the Clarets' wage bill.

"Wendies had over" is more like it. We all want our clubs to be successful, but I think the sugar daddy route has long since proved to be a poisoned chalice. It will all end in tears!
No malice in this for the Massive, it would be great to see a Yorkshire side in Premiership! (posts about Hull & Boro not required here please)

Think we are into our " Sugar Daddy" for about 30 million ish so everyone is at it!!! Very few clubs are profitable without financial backing from there owners1...end of.

They won't try and 'buy' promotions. Milan turned down loads of offers for the club to ensure whoever took over was going to invest money properly and not put the club at risk in the process. This new bloke has a good pedigree and it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually found their way back to the Premier League over the course of the next few seasons.

Think we are into our " Sugar Daddy" for about 30 million ish so everyone is at it!!! Very few clubs are profitable without financial backing from there owners1...end of. Fair comment, but the main difference is that DH is 100% behind making the club a sustainable town asset, one that we can all be proud of under the banner of "honesty, integrity, trust, commitment, quality, pride, respect". He is not out to make a quick buck or for self aggrandisement (well, maybe a little, but who wouldn't?). Oh, and it's "their"!  Pedants rool! |
