Anyone got any idea who tonight's Trialist is? Looks to be playing out in one of the wing back positions according to HTAFC's tweet (at a guess!!)

This lad might have summat about him. He is a junior at Widzew Lodz and has played for Poland at all levels from under 15 to 19 and was a key member of the Polish u17 side that finished in the last 4 at the Euro's.

Looked very useful until substituted. Skilful with decent pace. Made the second goal tonight for Steady with a powerful burst down the right and a good low cross. Radcliffe Borough 0 Huddersfield Town Magic 6.

Strange that a player who has stood out at national level is having to come to Huddersfield Town for a trial Danny Kane was on trial with us before signing and he was the captain of Republic of Ireland Under 16's. But I do get where you're coming from. Might be, because we're doing extremely well on the youth front? Who knows.

Actually went to Radcliffe tonight and I thought he was quite decent overall too. As mentioned previously, he laid it on a plate for Steady to score and made some good passes. Certainly didn't look out of place and definitely worth a second look IMO.

He looked solid but unspectacular. Definitely looked more of a right back then a right wing back..

Maybe it's because our U21s and U18s have been dominating the past couple of seasons, consistently finishing top of the table? The U18s were overall champions last time which makes Town the best academy team outside of the premier league clubs, or maybe even just as good, considering they beat West Brom and Man Utd in the Youth Cup.. Maybe we are just that good now that we need to give highly rated youth internationals a trial before signing? That could take some getting used to..

Strange that a player who has stood out at national level is having to come to Huddersfield Town for a trial I get your thinking after years and years of hyped up HTFC signings only to be disappointed. However, we surely must be looking like a very appealing move now for a youngster with our success at various levels and more opportunity for game time. Definitely the right way for us to go as a club also
