Considering the tactics set out, I thought the fans were good last night. Heard little in the way of moaning. On here after the match, yes, criticism. That's the point of a forum isn't it? To dissect the game you've just watched. And please desist from telling other supporters they're not welcome. You want a top Championship club, the last thing you do is upset half the fanbase. We need all the fans we can get.

I've walked out of the stadium listening to people piss and moan after a WIN, plenty of times. You can please some of the people some of the time.

And yes your right, the purpose is to review etc but not to call for the heads of people after 2 games. So would you really want to be sat next to folk week in week out that do nothing but moan and critic. It does quite easily get across to the players even on here I've read most threads on here and I've not seen a single person calling for his head? Just people disagreeing with his approach and concerned for the future. Chill.

its just some people get me mad sometimes and i want to start nipping and poking peoples eyes and stuff. People just annoy me with there miserable faces and even through there words on here you feel like tracking them down and giving them a good old thrashing infront of there wife and kids. Just get behind the team atleast for a while There are people you can talk to about those feelings you know

Thing that annoys me most is that everybody was moaning how when we played possession football under Robins it wasn't good enough and now we have started to get the ball forward quicker, yes by trying to hit a man to hold it up, its still not good enough. What do people want? Please tell me as we cant have it both ways.

I always come at it from the point of it being entertainment. Yes, i hate being relegated but if i go along and its exciting i can live with it. Their have been too few good games this last 2 years, very few. Time-wasting at 40 minutes and negative home tactics dont help. I want to see THREE strikers, i want to see a winger beat a man one on one, i want goalmouth action...not 3 shots per match. It so turgid and sterile these days, they fear fear.

You know it makes sense.

Subtle difference, I guess.

Just read through some threads and to ve honest its embarassing and pathetic how your already saying its over, powells useless etc. 2 games idiots, give him at least 10 before you start having a pop. He delivered his first objective last night. A clean sheet. Also having a pop at people trying to make atmosphere better. What do you want from town, a top half finish? Its not realistic yet. We need to stabilize in this league and then gradually get some and more importantly DEVELOP some key players. Pathetic town fans - the reason away games are much better because your lot tend or seem to stay away from them. No place for you lot at this club if we want to be a top championship club ib the next few years Football is a game of a opinions. You have yours. I have mine.

It's seems the town board keep making the same mistakes. The next boss is always better than the last at the one thing that lost them their Job, but they forget about the other aspects of management in finding him. Let's judge Powell after 10 games. But if the first 2 games are anything to go by, then ML will be back in charge by Xmas. I wish him the very best.... just not convinced. You usually get a reaction when a new manager comes in.. have we seen that?

be honest, if he had just tried something later on..stead off for hammill or lolley etc and we could at least have hit it down the sides with wells or hammill/lolley chasing it.. we were not keeping the ball in their half with long high punts so it wasn't losing anything.. there is playing for a draw and not playing at all for a draw..scannell ran with it a couple of times, maybe one other plater running with it or with scannell might have got us something..
catious is one thing, Tuesday night was something else..

Totally agree on the 10 games philosophy. Usually I judge the season so far after 10 games, in this case I am waiting until after CP has done 10 - that is the true 'season' so far. I will personally be satisfied if we can get somewhere around more than 4 points off of relegation and no more than 8 points off play offs........oh, and at least a few games with some attacking in them, excitement and drama.......if that does not happen this weekend then I might be worried..!

got to agree if he cannot get them firing on all cylinders this weekend then there is something wrong, and personally I do not think its the manager. however, its still early days and I think that Powell will turn the team around there is skill there and I think he's trying to find the Will to win in them.

Just look at Cardiff - 1 pt from 12, Solskaar getting the boot despite having spent millions and having the parachute to boot.
If only there was a magic formula to this game....

Same players with Stead out of team play a passing game while Lillis in charge, CP comes in and the same players are trying as hard and giving 100% but the set up/formation/philosophy and Stead up front is the difference. Same lineup barr injuries against Leeds- Stead up front, Peltier in Mid and Wells out wide when they have ball tell me how will /or can it be different than Tuesday night?

How many points does he need to have won to be accepted after 10 games.
He has 1 from 2 so far.
5 from 10 games - He will already be under serious pressure.
10 from 10 - The pressure will be on, depends how we are playing
15 from 10 - About what we can expect, would be doing his job
20 from 10 - How much are train tickets to London?
25 from 10 - Who is Bill Shankley?
30 from 10 - Cant be done now, call the police

Same here, if we can grind out a few nil nil away draws now and hopefully beat Millwall with a lucky goal. It doesn't matter. It's gunna take time, we leaked goals for fun with Robins.

You cant really forget the shambles that followed his appointment, especially the Leeds match, but looking at a rolling 10 matches. In 6 games times we could be asking who is Bill Shankley. Massively impressed by the turnaruound he has bought to the club so far, he seems a good sort, a decent bloke and someone I think most people wish to do well. Long may it continue. I hope you all like my new name... couldnt resist.
