That £6 mill spent on Assombalonga is looking like good business now. So jealous of Forest's attacking options.

Because we got 11000 for our game and they got 23000.

Oh I see, I hadn't realised that it was based entirely on the attendance of the most recent match. Thanks for the info.

Ok I've not watched the match and yes they've conceded 5, but Fulham scoring 3 goals versus forest suggests they've got enough to get out of trouble.

OK, we'll use the attendance from the game before when they had 30,000 Its common knowledge that Forest are one of the major flouters of ffp, they are trying to do a QPR and get promoted whatever the cost. Whether you think ffp will work or not (in terms of effective sanctions). I for one am quite happy for Town to follow the rules no matter what the outcome, but I know from some responses on here that others expect Dean to spunk millions living beyond our means. Unfortunately ffp is really a stealthy way for the big clubs to remain the biggest and the small clubs kept in their place. Money spent on wages is the largest determining factor in success of football clubs.

First, to your original comment that Town are the ONLY club seen to be following FFP -- Have to commend your thorough and deep research to back up that comment (not) Second, did not see the word 'entirely' in Slappers post, he merely pointed out the more than significant difference in incoming revenue from gate receipts, which if you took a minute to do some basic maths, would be simple enough to understand the importance of gate revenues towards the FFP rules. No one has to agree with everything the club does, and everyone is welcome to express their well founded opinions, but it certainly would be refreshing if there was a bit more balance and fairness used in formulating those opinions rather than just having cheap digs.

I don't think Fulham will be in the bottom 3 at the end of the season. At the moment I'm finding it hard to identify the three teams who will perform worse than us this year. Blackpool, Birmingham maybe, but then I start to struggle...

And what the OP fails to realise is that DH can choose whether to follow FFP, which makes it important to explain why he is. Others will follow it because they automatically have to.
