Win, Draw, Lose if the efforts there you leave the ground in a reasonable mood. Today is deja vu for so many games since December 2013 till now and from Jan 12 -April 2012.
How much longer can people put up with the same old rubbish week in week out. I was so close to not renewing my ST this year and already regret now forking the money out.
I wonder how many more die hard supporters feel the same? No buzz anymore pre match and bored to death during the game.
I'm not after tea and sympathy before anyone comments just starting a debate on other posters thoughts.
Be amazed if we have 11k next week. I'll be there but it will feel more a chore than something to look forward to during the week.

Having watched for 53 years unless someone can show me that they can fight and look like they deserve to wear the shirt it could be over for me - I was embarrassed to be a Town fan today

What's gone wrong though. Why are we so shit. It's really worrying. This has gone on for too long now.

How have we gone from needing a few defensive tweaks to looking like we need an whole new team within a few games? I hope the theory that we'll get worst under CP before we get better comes true.

Don,t think we need a whole new team just someone to motivate em and get the formation right. Let's at least go down fighting !

I was embarrassed today, and very annoyed at the lack of motivation of the players. Watching those home fans gloating for the second time running has done it for me. I am sc holder and regret renewing already. Neither my son or I will be attending home or away for the foreseeable.
I've been all over the country fallowing Town for the best part of 40 years but today was the proverbial straw. Gutless players, I can't abide.

Know very same feeling all to well matey. Keep your chin up Hudds, you'll stay up. I have a feeling that with a wealthy fan in charge that come Feb 1st you'll all be smiling. Hoyle won't let you lot slip out of The Championship. He'll spend.

If we carry on playing as we did today we are down FACT Toothless without a frontman. How long until Vaughan is back because Stead is garbage and Wells seemed lost in a system that clearly doesn't get the best out of him. Much like Billy Sharp for LUFC actually. Good player but wasted.

Forget Vaughan we will not get many games out of him. We all know wev'e needed another striker for months to play alongside wells but for some reason we don't seem to be able to get one. Baffles me !

Luciano Becchio would've been a good foil for Wells. Surprised there wasn't more interest in him, he was terrific for us. Beckford wouldn't have scored as many without Becchio playing as his battering ram.

Agreed becchio would have been a good loan signing but we missed the boat as usual.

Scored today too I noticed.

Agreed becchio would have been a good loan signing but we missed the boat as usual. Who would you like? Steve Morison would be a decent signing for you. Never really did it for us but there's a good player in there, as proven by his first spell at Millwall. Big wages though.

Know where you're coming from, matey. Football's lost its soul.

Morison would be a good shout but wages are the problem at town. We are going to have to spend if we want to stay in this league but to be honest It won't happen I fear the worst.

Not sure to be honest but it is well recorded that we won't pay silly wages hence our better players move on (Rhodes, clayton for example). Sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate but that won't happen at town. League 1 here we come.

Sounds exactly like when Bates was in charge of us. Didn't know the meaning of speculate to accumulate.

Sounds exactly like when Bates was in charge of us. Didn't know the meaning of speculate to accumulate. Hoyle underwrote £5m losses last year and has written off about £30m in 5 years at Town He's no where near like Bates - he's more like Jack Walker at Blackburn The hard truth is we can't compete at this level with our gates and Hoyle is trying to make us self sufficient and that looks difficult Money is available though - surplus from our summer transfer dealings - so it expect it will be spent soon, hopefully on a striker

Hoyle has said money is available for transfers but it's the wages that are the stumbling block not the transfer fee. January May be too late we need a dip into the loan market now. Speculate ( pay descent wages ) accumulate ( get better players and stay in this league).

It's total neglect. Our players are shit, the new manager is the cheap option and our board no longer want to finance the team. I feel sorry for Powell, it's not his fault but he is not the man Dean stated we needed in his radio interview.
I remember when Dean Hoyle took over and he said the club needed substantial funds to improve the playing staff... It's exactly where we are at now
