Losing to jammy Fulham then just taken lead at 2-1.
Cracking side Brentford, love the ground too.

Fantastic game of football. Brentford are a good side.
Mind you McCormack has been superb - more myopia from Strachan.

Glad Fulham lost, they seemed have adopted a style of letting the opposition totally hammer them, soak up tonnes of pressure, then take the lead, try and play on the break. It worked against Town but not tonight, although nearly.

Brentford making the step up to champ easy. We've made such a pigs ear of it so far.
A very very winnable game tomorrow and after an acceptable defeat vs derby but a pretty poor result versus Fulham, it's time to get back on an unbeaten run and then maybe we can threaten that top 6 too

One word of warning. They have only lost once in last six away and have a good defence.

2 years ago we were top for a little while. I'd reserve judgement on how "easy" Brentford find the Championship until a little later in the season.

The christmas period is rather unforgiving for smaller squads, i'd expect them to struggle a bit later on but they'll still be fine across the season.
Rotherham are the one for me who will struggle. They went on a mad shopping spree the week after the playoff final so i'd imagine there was little research done on players and lazy contract negotiations too. An agents dream scenario.

To be fair I thought we'd dropped away before November but you're right. After 18 games we had 28 points versus their 31. I don't think they'll collapse quite as bad as we did under Grayson though.
