I wanted to know what were peoples opinions on Cadamateri at Huddersfield Town during his 2 spells as a player?
I always liked him at Bradford he did well for us, at town heard he got various assists and did ok.

He was quality...sort of...i liked him In his first spell (cant remember much of the second one) he was tearing teams to shreds - but " various assists" - not really. his goals/assists numbers were poor (some of that you could put down to our poor strikers at the time)...but even without "end product" he was still well worthy of his place as he was such a pain in the oppositions arse.
when he was at it, even if he didnt get goals assists, we would usually have a good game.

Spent as much time on the sidelines as Vaughan but doesn't seem to have had the same vitriol aimed at him

And also the nasty side of social media has developed since cads was around... Vaughan twice the player and twice the anger towards him.. Very odd

Loved his approach to the game, he looked like he ENJOYED playing football.
Plus who can forget him picking the ball up in front of the bench at Leeds, with Gerry Murphy screaming for him to run the clock down into the corner. He had other ideas!
He was a great ambassador too, I took kids to a couple of the b&wf party things and he was invariably the first player there and the last to leave.
Think be brought more to Hudds Town than what we saw of him on the pitch. Plus, he actually scored more for us in less games than he did at Bradford!
Which other players have turned out for Leeds, Bradford and Town AND didn't really get a bad reception when going back to any of them as an opponent?

Was great at winning the other team goal kicks and running towards the corner flag. Always looked like he was doing something but never had a end product.

Started off badly but I grew to really like him, just through his workrate and tenacity.

Wasn't sure at first but I grew to really like him. His end product could've been a lot better but he always caused opposition players problems and defended brilliantly from the front closing down and making defenders make mistakes. Always thought he looked better wide going forward where he had more space and could ulitise his pace better. Cracking lad as well and I'm sure he was very good to have in a dressing room.

Except (as mentioned above) when he ignored Gerry Murphy's advice to run to the corner flag with two minutes to go at bellend road, and ended up crossing for Michael Collins' winner.

'Cadamarteri's having a party bring the vodka he'll bring the charlie'.
Scored some important goals for Town and was a popular member at the Club in our league one playoff campaigns.

Always rated him although for me he was never an out and out striker.. He was a winger and a quick one at that. He was most effective when coming on as a substitute for the last 25 to 30 mins of the game when the opposition were tiring and he could use his pace.

Not the most gifted player but was one of those who always gave 100% which made him very liked by most fans. Kind of like Novak

Cadz had such a splendid attitude for someone who played a minimal role in our promotion season. Kay had a long face on him and looked quite the bitter party pooper in the promotion vid. Cadz was high fiving everyone, getting into the spirit of the occasion and even joshing with fans at the Town Hall press conf with "don't worry I am not going to get offered another contract peeps!".

Wow, 7 games for the club and that's the best you could come up with. Kinda sums him up and his lack of end product up really. Shocking player, no end product, but ran around a lot like a headless chicken

Liked him a lot, just too injury prone, was disappointed when he first left but thought he was good in his second spell. Scored some good goals, none more so that the equaliser down at Bournemouth to get us a point on his second debut. The sending off agianst Forest too, which was totally ridiculous.
